Energy measurement
Weidmüller energy meters can do far more than just measure the consumption of electrical energy. For example, the basic parameters for energy quality can also be determined or the currents of all conductors can be analysed individually or differentially - e.g. with our Energy Meter. This allows you a quick status overview of the electrical energy in your production facility. This applies both in relation to efficient usage, as well as to quality, stability and availability. In addition, some types meet the requirements of the Measuring Instruments Directive MID 2014/32/EU. These devices fulfil the highest quality standards and are ideal for reliable billing.
Smart Metering
Another aspect of the energy transition is the smart grid, which encompasses transport and distribution networks right through to end-user installations. Here, Weidmüller offers products for smart metering, including the controllability of energy producers and consumers in accordance with Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG) and Section 9 of the German Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
